Chartwell 2024-2025 Corporate Responsibility Report

At Chartwell, our commitment to making a positive difference in the world extends beyond our services. Today, we are thrilled to share our 2024-2025 Corporate Responsibility Report, a testament to our ongoing efforts to create a sustainable, inclusive, and positive social impact driven business.

As part of this initiative, we use the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework.

Key highlights from the 2024-2025 report include:

  • Sustainability Initiatives: Chartwell works with clients to improve their energy use, helping accelerate energy efficiency improvements. This year, across projects, we had over 1.4 million metric tons equivalent of CO₂ avoided from increased metal production for electric vehicles and reduced energy usage at our clients’ sites.
  • Community Engagement: In 2024, we did our first pro bono project with the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB), the largest food distributor in Massachusetts, providing local food pantries and other organizations with over 117 million pounds of food per year. Chartwell partnered with GBFB to increase warehouse capacity and allow GBFB to distribute more food as efficiently as possible.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Chartwell has made strides in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace; including peer-support groups such as ChartwelLGBTQ+, ChartWomen, ChartEM (ethnic minorities), and ChartWell-Being (mental health and neurodiversity) so that everyone can feel welcome and supported.
